Welcome to Bart Zych’s iforCommunity Project

Saturday, September 13, 2014. 100 km Under 24 Hrs Walk.

The GOAL of the 2014 MISSION is to continue to help neglected and underprivileged kids in our Canadian communities by raising money for prevention, education, and enrichment programs.*

Together with supporters we walked 100 km in under 24 hours (20 hours, 19 minutes) starting in Vancouver’s West End, English Bay (corner of Denman and Davie St.) on Saturday, September 13th at 5am, proceeding to Richmond, and finishing early morning Sunday, back in Vancouver’s English Bay.

MISSION for 2013

Walk 1100 km from Hope BC to Calgary AB, starting June 17, 2013, alone with no support, no pace car or RV, and sleep outdoors for almost two months to raise money for the Children’s Aid Foundation.*
The GOAL of the 2013 MISSION is to help neglected and underprivileged kids in our communities by raising money for prevention, education, and enrichment programs, and to overcome my limitations after having both knees surgically reconstructed.

In the summer of 2013 I walked 1100 km from Hope BC to Calgary AB, completely alone and without any support, and sleeping outdoors. It took me 42 days to complete the walk.
