Kindness in Princeton BC

After 4 days and 125 km walking, 3 of those soaked in the rain, I arrived in Princeton BC. Found a pub with steak specials ($8 !) and went right for it. There at the pub I talked with a guy who told me of an RV park owned by a nice older couple, and it was close by. Since it was getting late I decided to go and check it out.

15 min later I arrived at River’s Edge RV & Campground (Tel 250-295-6568), just off hwy 3, behind the KalTire. The owner let me stay and take a hot shower for free! Feels like heaven after slopping through the rain for so long.

The photo is my view of the Similkameen River while having my morning coffee, right next to my tent, which dried out overnight.
