My 1100 km Walk in Fernie’s The Free Press

by bart on July 19, 2013

As I was leaving Fernie BC yesterday, I stopped by their newspaper office to see if they would find my 1100 km walk newsworthy. Well, they did.

Here it is as it appeared in The Free Press (Fernie BC and Sparwood BC) on July 19, 2013

Today I will be walking across the Continental Divide and into Alberta. The final leg of my journey.

Hello, Bart. It’s nice to see you smiling and looking well. When I read this, “Today I will be walking across the Continental Divide and into Alberta. The final leg of my journey.”, I got goosebumps and wanted to cheer out loud ! I want there to be a welcoming for you at every community, to “walk you in”. I think that there are many with you in spirit, not just when you arrive, but, as you walk through the miles between towns toward your goal. You’ve touched many lives along your way, and the raising of funds and awareness will touch many more lives through the Foundation. Safe travels my friend.

Erg leuke stijl heeft ze 🙂 Ik hou echter niet echt van tekeningen/schilderijen aan de muren dus zal het later niet in mijn huis hangen.

Awesome, I’m so glad to hear it! This should have incurred a change fee. Any explanation why it didn’t? Any tips? Sounds like you’ve got a great vacation and a half planned!

It is very *ahem* hard, to know what to say now without entertaining the fantasy of knocking on your door someday soon. Don burn yourself out, better to fade, but burn bright while you can! Later Hy,-J

“Look at it from a place of academia” Colleges create morons like the ones around Peter Schiff. It is impossible to seperate the politics from it because in the real world they both exist. He is telling you the problem is government but she’s to brainwashed to even consider it. They have been infiltrated by socialist professors who never became successful in their field and so are bitter with capitalism. They pass on this bullshit that capitalism is the creator of all our problems.
